| Pharmacy Busted | Spring Hill
Hernando County Sheriff’s Office in Florida had busted and shut down the Glory Pharmacy in Spring Hill, Florida. The allegations are the pharmacy took fraudulent oxycodone prescriptions. An anonymous tip started the investigation. The business is located on Mariner Drive / Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill, Florida. Officials told BayNews9.com, “it was never intended to be a legitimate pharmacy.”
Customers allegedly brought in fraudulent prescriptions and in exchange paid for pills, mostly oxycodone, deputies say. Drug enforcement officials also allege that the bust netted “250,000 pills, with a local street value of $2 million.” More arrests are expected, even though the drug store was closed in October of 2010.
